On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 20 and 21, 2023, the Undergraduate Management Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (HIMA S1 Manajemen FEB UNAIR) successfully visited several Big Companies in Jakarta and was accompanied by Nurullaily Kartika SE., MBA. – Lecturer of the Department of Management, FEB UNAIR. The purpose of the Company Visit activity is as a student learning program to learn real practices and company strategies to survive the global economic slowdown, where students not only get theory in lectures but also know and learn about company practices and culture in the career world.

On the first day, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, students from the HIMA S1 Management FEB UNAIR conducted a company visit to the Financial Services Authority at Wisma Mulia 2 Building, Jl. Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta with the topic of capital market supervision, one of the linear, interesting, and important topics to be studied in the Management Study Program, especially for students who are Generation Z who are familiar with the capital market.
Then, in the second session, on the same day, HIMA S1 Management FEB UNAIR had the opportunity to visit the CIMB NIAGA Head Office at Menara Sentraya, South Jakarta. The event began with an opening MC and remarks and continued with a presentation of material, followed by a presentation about Pursuing Dreams by CIMB NIAGA. There, we also had the opportunity to do a Company Tour, with this activity we could try advanced facilities such as VR Learning, Mini Golf, Photobooth, and the comfort of CIMB NIAGA facilities.
On the second day, June 21, 2023, we had the opportunity to visit the Wilmar Group, at the Multivision Tower Building, South Jakarta. The event began with the opening of the MC followed by a welcome and introduction of the Wilmar Group profile and also a presentation about Wilmar Consultancy Services.
With the Company Visit activity, it is hoped that students can gain valuable learning from the strategies implemented by Big Companies as well as motivation to be able to pursue a career in Big Companies.
