The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga once again facilitated a great collaboration between BEM FEB UNAIR – IKAFE UNAIR and Companies, in the event "CAREER DAY 2022" - JOB FAIR AND WALK IN INTERVIEW, from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd floor, FEB UNAIR and Soepoyo Hall, 3rd floor, FEB UNAIR, (22/9/2022)
According to Vania Safira Febrianti – President of BEM FEB UNAIR, this event was held as a forum or to facilitate FEB UNAIR students and alumni in preparing themselves to enter the world of work and have a career in an institution/company, according to their needs or desired field.
The opening of the event, which was attended by representatives from 12 companies including: 1. Primebiz Hotel Surabaya; 2. PT. Solusi Kartu Indonesia Tbk.; 3. PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk.; 4. PT. Salam Pasifik Indonesia Lines; 5. PT. AJ Manulive Indonesia; 6. PT. Bank Mandiri Persero Tbk.; 7. CIMB NIAGA; 8. PT. Graha Mukti Indah; 9. PT. Kode Niaga Tama (Codeshop); 10. D'Consulting Business Consultant; 11. PT. Mesin Kasir Online; and 12. Ciputra Group; was marked by a ribbon cutting by the Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR – Dr. Wisnu Wibowo and accompanied by 1. Rizky Supriadi, SE., Ak., MBA. – Vice Chairman I of IKAFE UNAIR and 2. Vania Safira Febrianti – President of BEM FEB UNAIR.
The opening of the 2022 Career Day event, marked by a ribbon cutting, by the Vice Dean I of FEB UNAIR, at the 2022 Career Day event, from the Fadjar Notonagoro Hall, 2nd Floor of FEB UNAIR, (22/9/2022).
Career Day 2022, this is the first activity held by BEM FEB UNAIR, more precisely from the PSDM Department chaired by Galang Jaisy Sayyidina. As also mentioned by Dr. Wisnu Wibowo in his remarks, that "the highest appreciation and respect is given to BEM FEB UNAIR and its staff, who have been able to realize the ideals in their management, where this year, there will be something new, in career day activities, not only providing information/knowledge/preparation to friends who are currently still active students or who will graduate on October 1, 2022, but also facilitating connecting with companies that will indeed be the real destination, after completing their studies at FEB UNAIR ". Furthermore, Dr. Wisnu Wibowo stated that "this event, which is a great collaboration, is very much in line with the Smart Education theme of FEB UNAIR, namely realizing graduates who are ready to work and then able to obtain available opportunities to work in companies or in their desired fields. Hopefully, this event will continue. Even though there are currently 12 companies joining to collaborate, next year there will be 120 companies joining, and of course, it will be greeted with applause from the audience.
Meanwhile, the Head of IKAFE UNAIR – H. Fandi Ahmad Yani (Gus Yani), through his virtual remarks, said that this event was held to:
- Introducing the world of work for FEB UNAIR students so that they can adapt quickly to existing changes.
- To prepare FEB UNAIR students for the job recruitment process, where the business world is a challenging world today, and through the skills and agility of newly graduated students, they can answer these challenges.
- Providing facilities to FEB UNAIR students, especially in the final semester and also to students who have just graduated.
Hopefully this event can provide benefits and blessings for all, and at the end of his speech, the CHAIRMAN of IKAFE UNAIR conveyed his closing greetings with a pantun.
