Each academic year consists of two regular semesters and one short semester. The odd semester runs from September to February, the even semester from March to July, and the short semester from July to August, following the end of the even semester. Generally, each semester consists of 14 to 16 face-to-face meetings, including evaluations.
Every student before registering for a course (academic) must complete the tuition payment for one semester in accordance with the established regulations.
Before classes begin, students must determine the courses they will take for the current semester or follow established course regulations. Course selection is made jointly with the academic advisor by presenting their Student Identity Card (KTM) and/or proof of tuition payment for the relevant semester. Courses taken are listed on the Study Plan Card (KRS) with reference to the Study Result Card (KHS).
Students who have filled out the KRS can change or cancel the courses they have taken by filling out the Study Plan Change Card (KPRS) no later than 2 (two) weeks after lectures begin.
Delays in filling out and submitting the KRS beyond the specified time limit with inappropriate reasons will result in the student in question not being permitted to attend lectures in that semester.
The number of credits taken in the following semester is determined based on the previous semester's GPA and by taking into account the flow and prerequisite courses. Prerequisite courses must be passed with a minimum grade of D. The maximum number of credits that can be taken by each student is as follows:
Table 4.2 Maximum number of credits that can be taken
The total of 24 credits is a limit that must not be exceeded.
The additional number of credits from the provisions for determining the maximum number of credits can be given by 2 (two) credits with strong reasoned considerations.
