DYNAMIC FEB UNAIR FINAL DAY CELEBRATES THE POWER OF LEARNING, CULTURE, AND CROSS-BORDER COLLABORATION

The fourth and final day of the Discover Youth Industrial Innovation and Management at Airlangga’s Course (DYNAMIC Program) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, brought the week-long international initiative to a close with a series of reflective activities that highlighted the program’s impact on both academic and intercultural dimensions.

The day began with group presentations, where participants shared their key takeaways from the past four days. Each group reflected on their experiences during academic lectures, industrial visits to GOJEK and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, cultural immersions, and collaborative discussions with fellow participants. The presentations showcased how students had not only deepened their understanding of Indonesia’s innovation landscape but also developed global competencies in leadership, communication, and teamwork.

To recognize excellence in reflection and delivery, the organizing committee awarded Group F as the Best Presentation Winner. The group was composed of Krystel Cassandra A. Lim from Eastern Visayas State University (Philippines), Koushika Saravanan from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India), and Nur Elyana Sofea Binti Azman from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Their presentation stood out for its structured insights, intercultural synergy, and a compelling narrative on how cross-border collaboration shapes meaningful learning.

The day continued with a cultural showcase, where students grouped by country performed traditional dances, songs, and stories to celebrate their heritage. The session not only marked the official conclusion of the program but also symbolized the spirit of unity in diversity that had grown throughout the week.

In her closing remarks, Dr. Martha Ranggi Primanthi, Head of the International Office FEB UNAIR, expressed her gratitude to all participants, partners, and student volunteers. She emphasized the broader significance of the program beyond academic exchange.

“We hope that everyone here not only gains new experiences and insights, but also builds friendships that last far beyond this week,” she said.

She also encouraged participants to carry forward the values of openness, collaboration, and innovation into their future endeavors, wherever they may go.

The final day of the DYNAMIC Program served as a powerful reflection of the program’s core purpose which is to transform knowledge into connection. Through presentations, cultural performances, and closing messages, participants were given the space to internalize what they had learned and express how the experience had shaped them.
