Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze how the influence of a leader's attitude in giving power to his subordinates (empowering leadership) will have an impact on employee creativity in producing new or original ideas that are useful for the organization (employee creativity). Apart from that, this research will also analyze how individual confidence in producing something creative (creative self-efficacy), as well as employee trust in leaders (trust) become mediating and moderating variables on the influence of empowering leadership on employee creativity. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research uses primary data from 73 employees where the data was obtained using a questionnaire distributed to Funding Officer employees at all Bank Rakyat Indonesia Surabaya Branches. The statistical tool in this research uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 2.0). Based on the research results, it shows that creative self-efficacy fully mediates the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity and trust moderates the relationship between empowering leadership and employee creativity.
