(WEBS NEWS) – The Human Resources Development Division of WEBS Universitas Airlangga once again held Internal Division Training (IDT) 2025, an internal training program designed to develop superior human resources within the organization. The two-day event, March 17–18, 2025, took place at Moments Cafe in Surabaya.
IDT 2025 aims to equip members of the Workshop Entrepreneur Business Society (WEBS) with a deeper understanding of the roles, positions, and responsibilities of each individual within the organizational structure. Furthermore, this activity serves as a platform to strengthen the values of leadership, teamwork, and time management through experience-sharing sessions with experienced individuals in related positions.
Adopting a thematic concept, this year's IDT is divided into four main themes, presented directly by each division. This way, each member is expected to understand their division's specific contributions while also building strong synergy across divisions.
In the opening session, participants received a comprehensive explanation of WEBS's journey to date, including how the organization carries out its role in accommodating and developing students' potential in the field of entrepreneurship.
This activity is considered in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4, namely Quality Education, because it contributes to increasing the capacity and quality of human resources through non-formal education that is applicable and relevant to the needs of today's organizations. Moreover, IDT 2025 also reflects the contribution to SDGs points 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by equipping members with basic leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills that are important foundations in building a young entrepreneurial spirit. From an organizational perspective, this program strengthens WEBS's internal foundation in creating a professional, structured, and sustainable development-oriented work environment. On the other hand, this training is also a strategic step in preparing a young generation that is adaptive, innovative, and ready to contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem both at the campus level and in the wider community.
With the spirit of collaboration and self-development, IDT 2025 is expected to be a positive first step for all WEBS members in carrying out their management term for the next year with clear direction and high dedication.
