TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization headquartered in New York, United States. In an effort to spread ideas in every community around the world, TEDx, a branch of TED, was formed. In each of its communities, TEDx strives to bring the spirit of "ideas worth spreading" to various groups. 

TEDx is a conference that presents curated speakers to share ideas on different themes at each event. TEDx is expected to be a local forum for ideas within the community that can inspire many people to change their lives, futures, and the world for the better. Based on this, "TEDxUniversitasAirlangga" finally presents as the first TEDx event at Universitas Airlangga and aims to share inspirational, creative, and innovative ideas by involving the entire academic community Universitas Airlangga in its realization.
