The "MIST International Conference and Call for Papers" is an annual event organized by the Management Student Society, a student organization of the Management Department of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. As of 2020, the "MIST International Conference and Call for Papers" has been held 16 times, with a different theme each year. In 2020, MIST was held with the theme "Neuromarketing: Generating Reaction, Immediate Satisfaction, Seamless Interaction.". 

This activity began with the selection of written works from all registered teams. From the initial selection, 15 teams were selected to advance to the final round held in Jakarta, Indonesia. The 15 teams consisted of 12 teams from Indonesia, and 3 teams from Japan, Australia, and Singapore. However, due to conditions that did not allow due to the spread of COVID-19, only 10 teams came to the final round, namely, 8 teams from the University of Indonesia, 1 team from the Bandung Institute of Technology, and 1 team from Universitas Airlangga. The Final Round was held from February 23 to February 28, 2020. During the final round, 3 types of selection were carried out to determine the winner of this year's MIST. Starting with a Technical Meeting held at Conclave Wijaya South Jakarta on February 23, 2020. The following day continued with the Presentation of the submitted Written Works held at CoHive Kuningan Jakarta. The next day, Conference Day 1 continued, where we were required to form new groups mixed with other group members to complete a case study presented by Tokopedia. Conference Day 2 then continued the following day, where we collaborated with our respective groups to debate on a topic that had been prepared by the committee. From the 3 types of selections carried out, the scores from each selection were calculated to determine the winner of this year's MIST. The announcement of the winners was made on Friday, February 28, 2020, at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta. Thus, the series of events of "The 16th MIST International Conference and Call for Paper" has been completed.
