The 2024 FEB UNAIR Student Legislative Body (BLM) held a “Pemira Law Session” on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The FEB UNAIR Pemira activity aims to elect the BEM President, BEM Vice President, Student Legislative Body Members (BLM), and Chairperson of Study Program Student Associations and the Student Legislative Council (DLM) who will be the leaders and implementers of activities at FEB UNAIR. In this context, the revision and creation of the FEB UNAIR General Election Law (UU Pemira) is very important to guarantee peace and justice for every student who is a voter, implementer, participant, and team in accordance with clear duties, authorities, rights, and obligations. This activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in point 16, namely Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions because with the formation of a comprehensive Law, the reference for an activity to run fairly and peacefully will be stronger and the gap for internal conflict within the institution can also be minimized. Therefore, the revision and creation of the FEB UNAIR Student Election Law is crucial to ensure a transparent, fair, and peaceful implementation of the Student Election.
