On Saturday 20 March 2021, KSPM carried out the upgrading of new management which was held virtually via Zoom. This upgrade was attended by 35 KSPM administrators. This activity was held with the aim of increasing the skills of new management regarding the capital market and also as a means to get closer between the management.
This activity begins by dividing the management into six groups consisting of mentors and members. The six groups were given the task of writing a paper on stock analysis and presenting the results in the Zoom forum. The shares analyzed by each group are different, starting from the agricultural, banking, mining, infrastructure, property and telecommunications sectors. Stock analysis is carried out for three weeks before the Upgrading is carried out. In preparing the paper, the management must analyze many things, starting from the company profile, macroeconomic review related to inflation, economic growth, public consumption, and capital market conditions. Then there is also an industry review which explains the condition of the industry or company sector and the opportunities and competition with similar companies in that industry. Then we also discuss profitability, down to fundamental and technical stock analysis. This is done with the aim of increasing the management's knowledge and expertise in the world of capital markets. Apart from presentations, several games such as Kahoot were also held to familiarize the administrators and several KSPM alumni were also present to give messages to the new administrators. Even though it was held virtually, this Upgrading is expected to be a means for administrators to get to know each other.
