The 20th Economic Olympiad is a work program organized by the Development Economics Student Association of FEB UNAIR to test the economic skills and knowledge and train the competitive spirit of high school students. It is also intended to introduce the Development Economics department Universitas Airlangga. This year, the Economic Olympiad carries the main theme of "Youth Empowerment for Economic Transformation." (Supporting SDG's 4).

This Olympiad will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) on October 6-7, 2023. The presence of the 20th Economic Olympiad is a manifestation of our support for SDGs 8 and 17.
SDGs 8 aims to create decent work, inclusive economic growth, and high productivity. The 20th Economic Olympiad can support this goal by providing opportunities for participants to understand economic concepts, develop economic skills, and their potential in this field. This can create more qualified human resources for sustainable economic growth.
SDGs 17 emphasizes the importance of global partnerships to achieve all sustainable development goals. The holding of the 20th Economic Olympiad can promote cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of economics. This can increase shared understanding of economic issues and help in achieving other SDG targets.
Thus, the holding of the 20th Economic Olympiad can act as a means of education and cooperation that supports the achievement of SDGs 4, 8 and 17, by advancing economic education and building global partnerships in an effort to achieve sustainable development goals.
