MEXPO 2018

 

Management Expo 2018 is an annual activity organized by the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga as a form of effort to benchmark Management majors. Expo management begins with a series of events intended for the public with activities covering several areas of competition (race), namely:

  • Management Olympiad
  • Management Startup C hallenge (MSC) + Technopreneur
  • Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition
  • Management Photo Competition
  • Management Dance Competition
  • National Business Case Competition

Apart from the six sub-competitions (competitions), there will be a Guest Star as the Closing Party of a series of Management Expo 2018 events. The peak Management Expo 2018 event will be held on:

Series of Management Expo 2018 competitions:

  • Management Olympiad

Management Olympiad is a national level competition aimed at high school or equivalent students who have an interest in the field of management science. This activity is part of the commemoration of the Anniversary of the Bachelor of Management Study Program, Universitas Airlangga . This competition aims to improve skills , increase knowledge related to management, and hone problem solving for high school or equivalent students from an early age.

  • Management Startup C hallenge (MSC)

" Management Startup Challenge " is a national level seminar and competition for high school/vocational school and equivalent students and active S1/D3 students throughout Indonesia with the theme " Empowering Solution Through Digitalization" as part of the commemoration of the Anniversary of the Management Study Program, Universitas Airlangga . This competition aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and hone the soft skills of high school students and to help create the conditions for a startup . MSC will open registration with a maximum quota of 50 teams for high school and equivalent students and 50 teams for active S1/D3 students from all over Indonesia, provided that one team consists of 3 people.

  • Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition

" Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition 2018 " is a place to apply understanding for students about stock trading. This competition is designed to be similar to the conditions in the real capital market so that participants can feel the real atmosphere in the capital market. The mechanism and design of 2018 Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition is a competition for students which is divided into 3 rounds, namely: preliminary round, semi-final and final. Apart from that, there are also seminars to broaden the insight of participants who have successfully entered the semi-final round.

  • Management Photo Competition

"Management Photo Competition 2018 " is a national level event for Indonesian people aged 15 - 25 years who come from various backgrounds and have an interest in photography as part of the commemoration of the Anniversary of the S1 Management Study Program, Universitas Airlangga .. This competition aims to increase the competitiveness and creativity of Indonesian youth towards photography.

  • Management Dance Competition (MDC)

Management Dance Competition (MDC) changed its name to "Management Band Festival". The mechanism and design of this "Festival Band Management" is competitive in nature. This competition aims to make the participants' creativity more developed and of better quality.

  • National Business Case Competition

The mechanism and design of the National Business Case Competition is a case study. Where the cases provided by the committee are cases experienced by a company . The case will be available on the MEXPO website ( www.manajemenexpo.com ) and completed by all participants. Answers can be sent directly to e-mail . 20 teams will be selected from the number of registrants with the best answers to enter the next stage. Next, in the second stage, 8 teams will be selected who will later take part in quarantine activities and take part in the final selection stage. The 3 best teams will win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
