FEB UNAIR Advisory Board Meeting Strengthens Strategic Direction through Collaboration with National Figures

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening institutional governance and strategic direction through the holding of an Advisory Board Meeting held on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Held at the Santika KS Tubun Hotel in Surabaya, this activity took place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB and became an important momentum in the formation and strengthening of the role of the FEB UNAIR Advisory Board.

This activity was attended directly by the leadership of FEB UNAIR, consisting of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Rudi Purwono, along with the ranks of Vice Deans, Vice Dean I – Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti, SE., M.Si.; Vice Dean II – Prof. Dr. Rahmat Setiawan, SE., MM.; Vice Dean III – Novrys Suhardianto, SE., MSA., Ak., Ph.D. and also the Heads of Departments. The presence of the faculty leaders reflects the institution's seriousness in building strategic collaborations with Advisory Board members who come from various professional backgrounds, ranging from government, industry, to academia.

The FEB UNAIR Advisory Board itself is filled with national figures who have significant track records and contributions in their respective fields. Names such as Ahmad Hidayat; Robby Setiabudi Madjid; Indarto Pamoengkas; Bangkit Kuncoro; Dr. Solikin M. Juhro, SE., MAE., MA.; Dr. Ferdian Timur Satyagraha, B.Com., MBA; Andie Megantara, Ph.D.; Aji Suprayogo; Dr. Drs. Ec. Theo Lekatompessy, MBA., LL.M., MH; and KusdianaLusi Kartikasari; are also part of this advisory board. The presence of these strategic figures is expected to be able to provide broad perspectives, constructive input, and policy directions that are relevant to global dynamics and industry needs.

The meeting focused on strengthening the future development direction of FEB UNAIR, including improving the quality of education, the relevance of the curriculum to industry needs, and the development of impactful research and innovation. The Advisory Board is expected to be a strategic partner for the faculty in ensuring that every development step remains aligned with challenges and opportunities at the national and international levels.

Through this Advisory Board Meeting, FEB UNAIR affirmed its commitment to continuously transforming into a superior, adaptive, and globally competitive higher education institution. The synergy between academics and practitioners is expected to create an educational ecosystem that is not only high-quality, but also relevant and sustainable.
