Dr. Thinzar Win is a Myanmar citizen who successfully completed his doctoral education in the Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. This graduate of the Doctoral Program in Economics was accepted as a student at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga in 2018. It is an achievement for Dr. Thinzar Win to have completed the doctoral program which should have been completed in 4 years, but he managed to complete it in approximately 3 years and 1 month. Moreover, Dr. Thinzar Win received the predicate Cumlaude. The Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Economics, Dra. Ec. Dyah Wulan Sari, M.Ec.Dev., Ph.d, expressed his appreciation for Dr. Thinzar Win's achievements and hard work. This achievement is expected to inspire and encourage doctoral students to immediately complete their studies.

Dr. Thinzar Win's interest in industrial efficiency inspired and motivated her to address the topic in her dissertation. The title of her dissertation is " Analysis of Energy Efficiency of the Sugar Industry in Indonesia." As part of the graduation requirements, this dissertation has been examined through several examinations and published in scientific journals.
