The Indonesian Management Forum (FMI) is a forum that accommodates academics and institutions in management science initiated by the Management Department of FEB Airlangga University and supported by state and private universities in Indonesia, such as Padjadjaran University and Bina Nusantara. Founded on November 10, 2008 at Hotel Tunjungan Surabaya, FMI currently has nearly 1000 individual members from Sabang to Merauke.
In its 8th anniversary, FMI again held a Seminar and Conference, which this time was held at the Mercure Hotel Palu. The event which was held by the committee from the Faculty of Economics, Tadulako University from 10-12 November was lively. Present as speakers and presenters were the Chancellor of Tadulako University, special staff from the Menristekdikti, BI practitioners, as well as hundreds of management academics.
The exciting thing at the event, the Management Department received several awards, namely Best Paper 1 by Mr. I Made Sudana, MSi and an award as the best delegation to the Management Department of Universitas Airlangga. Another proud thing is the re-election of Mr. Sri Gunawan, DBA as General Chair of the FMI Center for the 2016-2021 period.

FMI is indeed for the Department of Management, apart from being a means of communication and friendship between PTN/PTS Management Study Programs, it is also a place to build national achievements for the Management Department of Universitas Airlangga.
